POLICY INITIATIVES

Global poverty will be reduced only if the United States uses the full complement of its development policies as part of a comprehensive approach that is focused firmly on promoting economic growth and raising productivity.

IGD advocates for policies in the areas of trade, aid and economic development. We are currently focusing on three issues: the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), efforts to expand duty-free/quota free access to U.S. markets for poor countries and aid modernization. Learn more about advocacy actions IGD has taken.

Platform for a new global development agenda
