The IGD 2006 National
Summit brought together America's foremost business leaders
to discuss, debate, and decide what role the private sector
can play in solving one of the greatest challenges facing
the world today - how to eradicate extreme global poverty.
Over 240 leaders in attendence reviewed the current situation
in the developing world and will be outlining the initiatives
that IGD will take on in the coming year to create a safer,
more humane, and more prosperous world.
The inaugural
